Hi there!

I’m Jenice, Founder and Principal Designer at Leva Home Collective.

Many of my clients find me after visiting a space I’ve designed, a colleague’s home, a friend’s lake house or a professional office.

Realizing that it felt different.

It felt considered.

Calmer, easier, more connected.

That difference isn’t accidental. That’s what I focus on.

Yes, of course the space needs to look beautiful, but just as importantly, it needs to work effortlessly and feel right to be in.

The flow, the atmosphere, the way it supports your day without you noticing it.

I design spaces that are not only considered and refined, but deeply connected to the people living in them, spaces that feel as good as they look.

Spaces that have you live well and feel well is my upmost desire in design.

Jenice relocated to Red Deer in 2022 with her husband and four sons, bringing with her a rich perspective shaped by years of living abroad in Sweden, Germany, and across the United States. These experiences have deeply influenced her approach to a home being grounded, connecting, and thoughtfully reflecting those that live in it.
With a lifelong instinct for styling, designing, and organizing spaces, Jenice’s path into design felt inevitable. Her original career as a psychiatric nurse continues to shape her work today, giving her a unique sensitivity to how environments impact wellbeing, mood, and the way people function in their daily lives. She approaches design not just from an aesthetic lens, but with a deep understanding of how a home can support mental clarity, calm, and connection.
It was the inspiring design culture of years spent living in Sweden and nudge from her husband that ultimately led her to go back to school to study interior design.
In 2013, she founded Leva Home Collective, named after the Swedish word “leva,” meaning to live or to dwell. A philosophy that continues to underpin her work: creating homes that are not only beautiful, but intentionally designed to support the way you truly live.
